“I don’t think the Oscars like commercial films, or kids’ films, unless they’re directed by Martin Scorsese.I was watching Hugo the other day and going, ‘Why is this nominated and we’re not?’ I was slightly miffed. There’s a certain amount of snobbery. It’s kind of disheartening. I never thought I’d care. But it would’ve been nice to have some recognition, just for the hours put in.”

FUCKING YES. Daniel Radcliffe knows what’s up. I’m glad that he lashed out for Harry Potter being snubbed because it honestly was one of the best films of this year. I don’t care what anyone says, Harry Potter deserved to be nominated for a academy award, not just for technical stuff, but also for acting, directing and overall.

HARRY POTTER FTW
The Oscars basically are an American thing. They are overrated. I wouldn’t torture myself over it.
